We are super duper excited to introduce our brand new LEARN and PLAY program. This grade RR program has been compiled by experts with over 50 years of experience in early childhood development.
Who is the program for?
The grade RR program focuses on our mothers at home.
The program is in line with the schools’ grade RR programs – but does not just meet the minimum standards (like most schools). This is an enriched program. This means that we strive for more than just the minimum outcomes and skills.
What should I have access to?
- An address where we can deliver your package (if you also purchase a box)
- Stationery
- Ability to purchase additional equipment
- Access to sufficient data and a strong internet connection
- Access to a colour printer
What does the program entail?
Our program includes daily maths, language and life skills lessons. These include big muscles, small muscles, visual development, auditory development, sensory play, language development, emotional well-being, informal maths and many more.
- Short list to indicate which skills we focused on each week (continuous assessments). This might be every second week as well.
- Directions are easy to use.
- Equipment required is readily available.
- The program is divided into 4 parts (or terms). Each term consists of more or less 10 weeks.
- The terms must be done in order.
- You can start anytime and can work at your own pace.
A term can be worked on for longer than just 10 weeks. To accommodate home learners and because not everyone progresses at the same speed, we then send Term 2/3/4 material as soon as you pay for it.
- Assessments are ongoing. Honesty rests with the parent.
- Get a report reflecting the continuous assessments at the end of terms 1, 2 and 4.
Methodology:
Our program is based on learning through play. There is therefore no colouring work and unnecessary book work in the program. There is a lot of fun and we show you the value of the activities!
